A COMPOSED PAIR OF SHARP'S PATENT FOUR-BARRELLED .30 (RIMFIRE) DERRINGER PISTOLS, serial no. 10851 / 22370, in a later case,
circa 1870, with blued 3in. barrel-group, plain brass frame signed 'C. SHARP'S PATENT 1859' in a circle around the hammer axis screw on the left hand side, the right side similarly marked 'C. SHARPS & CO. PHILADA. PA.', centrally mounted blued hammer with rotary auto-indexing nose, chequered gutta-percha grips and push button opener, retaining traces of original blued finish and plating to frame on one pistol together with a later wood case with walnut veneered lid, compartmented and lined in blue baize in a semi continental fashion, reproduction retailers label inside lid and containing a lidded compartment, a tray for ammunition, oil bottle and turn-screw
